Coggle is a web app for mind maps, flowcharts and process maps. The free plan is meant for occasional use, and the paid Awesome plan adds private diagrams, flowchart shapes and link-based editing for collaborators. Diagrams run in the browser with nothing to install.

Coggle is a browser-based mind mapping tool. A map grows from a central node in branches, and images can be dropped in from the desktop with no limit on the number of images, according to the site. Nothing needs to be installed.

The Awesome plan adds flowchart shapes for process maps, private diagrams and collaboration by secret link, so any number of people can edit a diagram without an account setup. If a subscription is cancelled, diagrams stay private and the user keeps access. The free plan is a good starting point for occasional maps, but teams that work on maps every week will need the paid plan.
