Novel writing software with a plot grid, word goals and mobile apps

Dabble is novel writing software for fiction authors, with a plot grid, story notes and a worldbuilding bible. It runs in a web browser and on iOS and Android, and it sets daily word count goals. Its exports cover Word and plain text files.

Dabble combines a plot grid, story notes and a worldbuilding bible with a writing editor. Chapters and scenes can be moved by drag and drop, and plot labels help you follow threads across the book. The editor shows live word counts and daily goals, and a contextual thesaurus helps with word choice.

Dabble plans start at $19 a month, and the site also sells a one-time Lifetime Author Access for $699 with future updates included. The 14-day free trial needs no credit card. The app works in the browser and on iOS and Android, and the site lists export to Word and text files rather than ebook or print layouts.
