Self-hosted social media management with an open-source Lite edition

Mixpost is a social media scheduling and management tool that you can self-host. Its Lite edition is MIT-licensed on GitHub, and Mixpost Pro is a commercial version with a hosted option and a free trial.

Mixpost schedules and publishes posts, manages multiple accounts, and includes an AI content assistant for captions and rewrites. It also covers analytics and team workflows, including an approval workflow for clients. The company says your data stays on your own servers when you self-host.

The repository on GitHub contains the Lite version of Mixpost Pro under the MIT license, and its latest commit is dated March 2026. Lite features are kept distinct from the commercial Pro edition, so some features exist only in Pro. Mixpost suits agencies and creators who want to own their data and accept the work of running a server.
