Free, open-source RSS reader for Mac, iPhone and iPad

NetNewsWire is a free, open-source RSS reader from Ranchero Software for Mac, iPhone and iPad. It syncs with services such as Feedbin, Feedly, Inoreader, NewsBlur and FreshRSS, and its code is licensed under MIT.

NetNewsWire is a native reader for macOS, iOS and iPadOS. It supports reader view, single-key keyboard shortcuts, dark mode and a Safari extension that adds feeds. It keeps track of which articles have been read, and it syncs through iCloud or through several feed services.

The app is free, and its source is public under the MIT license, so it suits people who want an open-source reader on Apple devices. The site lists it for Mac, iPhone and iPad only, so people on Windows, Android or in a browser need a web-based reader such as Feedbin or FreshRSS.
