Open-source project management with Gantt charts and agile boards

OpenProject is open-source project management software for classic, agile and hybrid projects, with Gantt charts, boards and time and cost reporting. Its source is under GPL-3.0, and it can be self-hosted or used as a hosted service.

OpenProject supports waterfall, agile and hybrid planning in one tool. It includes Gantt charts, Scrum and Kanban boards, team planning and time and cost reporting. Organizations with data-residency rules can run it on their own servers, which the project presents as data sovereignty.

The Community edition is open source and free to self-host, while the hosted and enterprise options are sold separately. Because the code is GPL-3.0, it can be inspected and changed. Self-hosting means running updates, backups and security patches yourself, and the hosted service is the simpler route for small teams.
