Shopfloor is a text-first index of industrial technology with original articles, a 171-term glossary, a topic index, calculators and a feed of automation headlines. It covers PLCs, SCADA, MES, OPC UA, MQTT, robotics and OT security. It is maintained by Yunus Emre Vurgun and has no accounts, comments or tracking.

The site has three working parts. The originals are technical articles written for the site, and the home page lists 67 of them. The index is a curated set of external standards, documentation and reference pages. The glossary defines the field's terms in plain language. Topics group articles, index entries, tools and terms under 32 subject areas.

The Fresh section is a feed of headlines from automation publications, refreshed continuously and filterable by source, topic, age and keyword. Five calculators work without JavaScript, among them a register decoder with byte-order check, an OEE calculator, a subnet calculator and an engineering unit converter. The About page says the site has no accounts, comments, votes or personalization.
