Cisco's video meeting and calling service with a free plan

Webex is Cisco's video conferencing and collaboration service, with meetings, messaging, webinars, whiteboarding and cloud calling. Its free plan allows unlimited meetings of up to 40 minutes and up to 100 attendees, and it has apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android.

Webex groups meetings, messaging, polling, webinars, whiteboarding and cloud calling into one suite, and its Meetings product covers video conferencing and screen sharing. The Free plan includes screen sharing with annotation, unlimited whiteboards, local recording and advanced noise cancellation. The paid Meet plan adds an AI assistant, and Meet + Call adds business phone numbers.

Pricing is per user. The Free plan costs $0 per user a year, and paid plans are offered with monthly and annual billing, with six months free for buyers of five or more licenses. The desktop app is offered as installers for macOS, Windows and two Linux packages, DEB and RPM, and there are mobile apps for iOS and Android. Webex suits organizations that already use Cisco products. Small groups that only need a simple meeting may find a tool with a longer free meeting limit easier to use.
