About Crouton
Crouton stores recipes in whatever form they arrive: a website link, a photo or just a title. Recipes can be imported from copied URLs, and the scanner reads ingredients and steps from a printed page. Each recipe can be scaled for a larger or smaller group, and measurements can be converted between metric and imperial. Timers can be started from the steps of a recipe.
The weekly planner assigns saved recipes to each day of the week, and the app can generate meal plans from stored recipes. The App Store subtitle lists a grocery list and meal planner as features. iCloud sync keeps recipes across devices and can share them with a household. The app is free to download and uses in-app purchases, and some features require Crouton Discover. The latest App Store release is dated September 13, 2026.
