About Pixaki

Pixaki is an iPad app for pixel art and frame animation. Its tools include pixel-perfect drawing, a dither brush, shapes, a color panel, an eyedropper and color replace, and it can place a pixel layer over sketches and photos. Animation layers sit on a scrubbable timeline with onion skinning.

The free Intro version has no time limit or ads, but it caps the project at 3 layers, 8 animation frames and a 160 by 160 pixel canvas. Pro is aimed at professional artists and game creators and raises those limits, with unlimited layers and frames and a larger canvas. Pixaki runs only on iPad, so desktop users need another program.
